Therapy Services

My approach is first relational and then individualized/tailored to the needs and wants of each client. I have over 20 years experience with children, adolescents, adults and elders. I welcome clients from all ethnic, cultural and religious/spiritual backgrounds. As a person/therapist with European ancestry and white skin I work to be aware of my biases and privilege. My practice also includes clients that may identify as straight, bisexual, gay, lesbian, transgender, queer or gender nonconforming.

Common Issues

I specialize in working with people who have experienced trauma and complicated grief (i.e. suicide/violent death of a loved one, unresolved grief), as well as, those struggling with addiction (including opiate addiction and those currently on opiate substitution therapy), chronic relapse and other difficult life transitions.  I also have expertise assisting people who struggle with:  anxiety, bipolar disorder, borderline personality,  depression, dual diagnosis, obsessive-compulsive (OCD), self-harming, sexual abuse, sexual assault, & suicidal ideation.
